Export everything (and what's included)
Your archive is never held hostage. CoverQueue offers a full export on every plan, including Free, so downgrading or leaving never ransoms your data. Here's what's included and how to pull it.
What a full export includes
From Settings → Import & Export, a full export gives you three things:
- The submission log as a CSV: every submission with its metadata, status, and decisions.
- All coverage as branded PDFs, bundled in a ZIP: each document as it was signed.
- Your writers list as a CSV: names, reps, and notes.

The same coverage PDF you export is the one your team reads and shares: clean, paginated, and carrying your org's logo, so it looks like it came from a studio story department.
Export a single coverage PDF
You don't need a full export for one document. Any coverage can be exported to PDF from its read view, handy for emailing a single write-up or printing.
Why it's on every tier
Cancel and downgrade never block export; it's an explicit trust position. If you drop to Free or leave entirely, your log, coverage, and writers come with you.
Import is the mirror image: bring a spreadsheet in from Google Sheets or Airtable. See Import your tracking spreadsheet. Coverage is written inside CoverQueue, so import covers the log and writers, not coverage documents.
Common questions
Can I export if my trial expired? Yes. Export is available on Free, so an expired trial never traps your data.
Is the log export re-importable? The submission CSV follows the same shape the importer maps, and import is re-runnable without creating duplicates.
What about the audit log? The org-wide access log exports separately to CSV for owners and execs. See Reading the access log.
